Ch..Ch..Ch..Changes!

As much as we long for the comfort of what we know and what feels safe, we serve a God who calls us to live a life of extravagance, extravagant love, passion, joy, and desire.
"Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."Luke 5:4
For the past few years, Ben and I have felt that life was good but we did not have a particular calling on our family or our lives. We had passion and love for the Jewish people and the Nation of Israel, but without being an International, there were very few places for that passion to be used. We felt comfortable but not passionate. We began praying and asking God to do something in our lives, something new. One of those new things will be taking place shortly. Ben has worked for our church for more than 12 years. In one week, he is leaving that position and will begin a completely different career. I am so proud of him; trusting God and letting go. It hasn't been an easy process, a bit painful and bittersweet. We feel peace, at least most of the time, and know our hope is not in what man can bring but in who our Savior is. I know Ben is going to succeed and we are praying that this is just the beginning of God revealing His passion, joy, love and desire in our lives.

I finished my first real knitting project this month. It only took me 6 months (I hope you can sense my sarcasm). I made a pair of leg warmers for Chloe. Gratefully, they fit and she loves them. She was able to wear them only once before the warm weather began. I was a little worried that the wool in the fabric would make them too itchy for my princess.
