Chloe's prayer wall

Her Sunday School class prays for different missionaries throughout the year and today Chloe came home with a picture of Bobbie Stratman. When I told her that I knew Bobbie, shock registered on her face. My brother, Ryan, lived with that family for a few years and we consider Bobbie a good friend. Chloe prayed tonight for safety for Bobbie while she delivers Bibles.

If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither, let my tongue cleave to my palate if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy - Psalm 137:5

I am reminded again this morning how important it is for us to continue to pray for Israel, the Jewish people and our nation's leader.

Easter 2011

I love, love, love my baby boy's smile. He scrunches up his face real good and let's you know he sees you with that camera.

My sweet babes smiling for me and looking so dapper in their Easter best.

Yep, Micah is smiling again outside the church.

So adorable!

Elijah likes to clip his tie on his sweater vest instead of his shirt. It is way more comfortable that way.

Chloe picked this dress out for Easter over 6 months ago. She is a girl with incredible taste.

Chloe took a picture of her father and I. She did a great job.

February is birthday month!
We have been busy celebrating lots of birthdays this month, including Aunt Jenny, Chloe and my own. It has been a busy past two weeks.
Before the birthday pictures, here are a few pictures of a cute, messy baby!

So cute and tired!
Chloe invited her entire class to her birthday party this year, long before she ever informed mom and dad. We underestimated the girl's focus on her birthday celebration and did not think to discuss things with her starting in October. Because of said misunderstanding, Chloe invited her classmates to her party before ever asking us. We heard from classmates and parents that they were very excited to attend Chloe's party. This was all news to us! We did intend to throw a party for Chloe but on a smaller scale and with less school friends and more friends from church and outside of school. Needless to say, Chloe did invite all of her classmates to our home and not many other friends. It was quite the busy afternoon and we already informed Chloe that next year, we are doing things differently!
Chloe came home with a package on Friday from one of her classmates that was unable to attend the party. The pink package was so precious because of the note that was on it. David wanted Chloe to know that even though he couldn't make it to the party, he would be there in spirit. So sweet!

Elijah and Micah helped me prepare cupcakes early in the morning.
I love those two so much!
The children snacking and watching the talent show.
Check them all out! And they kept coming...
Ethan playing the piano.
Alicia, Chloe and Grace singing their very own composed song. It really was precious.
Chloe receiving a gift from her classmate, Ryuslan.
Chloe and Ayden
Chloe and Sydney
Micah is still smiling at the end of the day!
