The Times... They are a Changin'Elijah sports a new haircut. It's a bit sad to see his curls go,
but now we can see his gorgeous eyes.

Speaking of gorgeous eyes, this shot shows a nice pair of peepers on my sweet little girl. Chloe's red hair inspired us to dress her
as an old favorite...Pippi Longstocking.

Elijah was dressed as Einstein for our little party (this is one of
the last photos of him with his cute, curly hair).

Fall Fun

Chloe digs for seeds in the ooey, gooey pumpkin

in preparation for carving.

Our visit to the zoo was a big hit with both Elijah and Chloe.

Elijah finds himself a midday snack.

This photo cracks me up. I could hardly hold the camera still. Chloe doesn't yet know how to read, but you know what they say about kids emulating or imitating their parents...

Savor Every Day

Seth, Chloe, and Tirzah hanging out.

Elijah kicking back.

Chloe stretches before dance.

Elijah loves to play, and he loves to get a laugh.

Chloe enjoys a laundry break.

A Trouble Sandwich

Avery, Chloe, and Ethan pose for a camera shot.

Outdoorsman

Elijah seems to enjoy the outdoors much more than indoors. Our warm weather seems to be disappearing, so we will try to get out as much as possible.

A Day with Dad

Over the weekend, I ended up with the kids for a few hours. Typically, we might take a drive, watch a movie, or play with toys. But, this time I wanted to show them something their daddy loves to do.

This picture was taken on one of my favorite hikes.

...it was one of the best days I can remember.

My Sweetie

Carnival!

Chloe enjoys her time at a recent carnival.

Wild Man

He's not exactly the bubbliest little boy, but when he smiles...

forget about it.

True Blue

Happy Independence Day from our family to yours! The above pictures were taken at a neighborhood Fourth of July Parade.

Family Fun

Ben, Laura, Jeni, Chloe, Elijah, Joni, and Ryan enjoy a walk in Rhododendron Garden in beautiful Oregon.

Congratulations, Joni!

Elijah in Tub

Elijah loves his time in the tub as much as any other time. He spends most of it splashing and playing.

Summer Fun (In The Spring)

The following pics were taken at a local city festival. What a beautiful evening?! The kids splashed in the water for hours while lively and soothing bluegrass music played in the background. It was a really simple, yet magical evening. The aformentioned live music courtesy of a band called Elephant Revival...very nice. The pictures were taken on my camera phone, so they are not the greatest.

A Time for Play

Mom, Elijah, Chloe, and Dad

Ahh...Colorado!

As we sit and enjoy our beautiful Spring weather with our 70-degree days, it is fun to remember our frosty situation just a couple of months ago. You've got to love Colorado!

Tiny Dancer

I was extremely proud of my little girl this night. She is something else!

Two Peas in a Pod

Brother and Sister: what a special bond!

Bath Time

Elijah enjoys a warm, relaxing bath. This is the first and last time he was bathed in the sink (There is just not enough space in the sink for a boy his size).

Brother and Sister

Elijah and Chloe share a squeeze after an egg hunt on Palm Sunday.

There is a lot of love between the two of them.
